Meiseki ApS is the data controller for the personal data we process about you when you use meiseki.dk or contact us.

What we process, and why

When you contact us through the form on this site (name, phone number and optionally email and a message): We use the details to respond to your enquiry and call you back. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR article 6(1)(f)). Your enquiry is delivered as an email to our own mailbox and treated confidentially.

When you book a meeting Booking runs through Microsoft Bookings, and the details you enter (name, email and optionally phone number) go into our calendar. The legal basis is the same as above.

When you email us directly We process the details you choose to send us in order to respond.

Technical log data Our hosting provider briefly records IP addresses in standard server logs for operations and security. We don't use log data to profile or track visitors.

We don't collect data about you from other sources, and we don't use your details for marketing without asking you first.

How long we keep your data

Enquiries are deleted no later than 12 months after our last contact, unless we start working together. If we do, we keep what's necessary for as long as the engagement lasts and as long as Danish bookkeeping law requires.

Who we share data with

We don't sell or share your data for marketing. We use two data processors to run the site:

• Microsoft (email, calendar and meeting booking in our own Microsoft 365 environment)
• Netlify (website hosting)

Both process data only on our behalf and on our instructions. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, the transfer is based on the EU Commission's standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to the processing, ask us to restrict it, and receive your data in a portable format. Write to hej@meiseki.dk and we'll help.

Changes

If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of the page.
